Resumo: This paper presents a prototype developed for acquisition and display of pulse oximetry signals, it shows percentage SpO2 value, the BPM value and photoplethysmogram, those informations are displayed using the graphical display of 128x64 pixels, a library has been developed during this work. The prototype also features an heartbeat audible indicator with intensity dependining on the percentage of SpO2, increasing its level as the percent of oxygen saturation decreases. The microcontroller of the prototype is a MSP430FR5969. It take care of the acqusition of data through the 12-bit ADC; the display control through of a serial communication interface; also, the UART communication with the computer, using a development kit and using a data reception script implented in the software MATLAB®. The microprocessor also controls the probe, which was develeoped and based on a non-invasive system. The probe is composed by a couple of LEDs (red and infrared) and one phododiode OPT101.
