Resumo: The present work aims to demonstrate the efficiency of Newton Raphson’s method of power flow analysis. An alternating current microgrid, consisting of two synchronous generators, three transmission lines, and controllable loads, composed of resistor banks, capacitor bank and induction motor, was implemented in the workbench. By operating the microgrid, several scenarios were created, from which the power, voltage and current data were collected at strategic points. With the data collected, the system was modeled. Subsequently, an algorithm of the Newton Raphson’s Method was implemented in the MatLab software, in order to obtain a second set of data from the simulation. Thus, we compared the data to show that the error between them is small.
