Resumo: In residences which use hot water from the solar heating system to the bath using a shower, it is common to discard the whole cold water from the duct until the hot water from the tank arrives. Approximately 7 500 liters of water per year is wasted, considering a family of four and a bath per person per day. This work presents a solution to take advantage of the cold water of the pipe and to control the temperature of the bath of an automatic form of a combined system for the bath from both electric shower and hot water from a reservoir. The automation uses a simple system consisting of a controller unit (arduino), sensors, and actuators, which significantly reduces water waste. The electrical shower is used when necessary, presenting an error of 7.13% of the required temperature.
