This paper presents concepts and information about building a locator device manufacturing references for milling machine. First an analysis is made about the devices found in the market for the foundation and development of a sketch and start the sizing finding the most appropriate forms and dimensions for the project, and also to define the characteristics of the helical tension spring. Following a selection is made of a material that resists the demands of wear in case an average carbon steel SAE 1045 hardened by heat treatment. Finally the construction and testing of the device where manufacturing processes are present perfecting the knowledge transmitted over graduation. |
