This research presents a history of the Product Development Process (PDP), with the concepts and models of renowned authors. From that was conducted a search using the database ScienceDirect seeking reference models of the past 5 years and the JabRef 2.0 software for better organization of the articles, showing that currently any process or product need a structured PDP, whether in the automotive field, aviation or even of medical procedures. Small and medium enterprises (SMEs) are the ones that have the most problems with respect to product development and therefore proposed a NDP model for a company the local productive arrangement of household utensils and aluminum products in Paraná Southwest using the general model and semi-structured questionnaire based on Rozenfeld et al. (2006) to be validated by the company in November 2015 for future product development sector. |
