Resumo: To evaluate the effect of the compaction in the semi-solid state of the alloy 295.0 on the mechanical properties, samples with compression pressures of 150 and 200 MPa were processed, which were submitted to the thermal treatment of solubilization and precipitation T6. Microstructural and microhardness analysis were performed to evaluate the results. Based on the development of the work the following conclusions stand out. It is possible to verify that the primary α-Al particles are transformed with the application of the pressure, becoming more homogeneous and thin. A plastic deformation of the grains occurs and a subsequent dynamic recrystallization in the microstructure. Increased compaction pressure reduced the hardness of the samples. The heat treatment resulted in microstructural changes, mainly in the morphology and distribution of the intermetallic and in the shape of the grain boundary.
