The research gathers data from the prototype and manufacturing system design developed by Baja SAE team Pato Baja, and then evaluates financially this manufacturing system. Tasks include the construction of the prototype’s manufacturing diagram; followed by the development of the vehicle’s inventory; manufacturing and component costing; and finally the stochastic analisys of incomes along the time horizon set for a series of presumed profit margins. Results of the analisys show a production cost per unit between R$19.700,00 and R$20.400,00, similar in all three demand scenarios; and, as a consequence of it, financial viability show up only at presumed profit margins higher than 35%, presenting a high risk degree face to other vehicles for sale and setting the investment project as non-viable. |
