This work presents a manufacturing project of an engine block, which works with Atkinson Cycle, aiming for high energy efficiency. For greater efficiency and fuel economy, the Atkinson Cycle was chosen for internal combustion engines, because, is more efficient than the Otto Cycle, which is meat found in automobiles. A benchmarking, articles and image analysis where used to carry out the projects. The model of the block was created with the movement of the mechanism to be used test in software. It was found necessary to design the others parts of the engine at the same time, to obtain the finished block. |
