The search for energy efficiency is in full growth in Brazil and in the world, much because of the fact of the damage caused by non-clean energy sources and also because of the awareness process our society is going through to not waste an asset as expensive as energy. In this way, many studies are in course for the implementation of systems that manage the energy in the best way possible, going through various methods. Based on this, this undergraduate thesis aims to bring some valid theories to put on an effective energy management system, passing through initial researches to form a very important energy consumption data base to the Internal Comission for Energy Conservation; development of global energy efficiency indexes of the Federal Technological University of Paraná; research of several energy efficiency indexes from other universities in Brazil and in the world; in addition to an approach and solution proposal to a problem with the air conditioners, recurrent in the Q Block of the University, by an economic feasibility analysis. |
