Resumo: Noticing the need for low-cost solutions that target small and medium sized industries, this paper aims to develop a device capable of connecting 4 to 20mA sensor information with IoT networks, thus bringing Industry 4.0 to these industries. For the development of the device the Arduino UNO prototyping board, a 4-20mA current reader and the LoRa radio module were used. For the development of the project, a Raspberry Pi was added to act as a gateway in this communication, which will make the information available in a dashboard through the IoT Node-Red platform. The device reads the load cell, when an indicator is triggered, the information is sent via LoRa radio to the gateway. This has the job of sending the information to the MQTT server. The Node-Red IoT platform will demonstrate gauge values in the dashboard. The paper presents an affordable solution for introducing Industry 4.0 into small and medium sized industries where there are limitations such as financial capital and knowledge.
