Resumo: |
The present research aimed to investigate the insertion of practical activities, together with the collection of science textbooks used in the public elementary school network of the city of Santa Helena / Paraná. The data were analyzed according to the theoretical and methodological assumptions of Content Analysis. Ten categories of analysis have been established called Projects, Activities, Explore, Let's Do, Think Science, Have an Eye on the Theme, a New Attitude, Learn More, Workshops and Get Inside. It was considered as suggestions of practical activities the presence of proposals of elaboration of experiments, projects, theaters, songs, drawings, videos, works in groups and in double, walks, collections, elaboration of blogs, interviews, workshops and researches in the Internet. Data were entered into the Frequency Quantity (QF) and Activity Levels. It was verified that all Didactic Books used in the research presented suggestions of practical classes, with the categories of analysis being more present the Activities (56 registers) and Let's Do (31 registers). Regarding the Level of Classification, according to the increase in the degree of freedom that the students would have to act in relation to the proposed activities, activities that corresponded to Level 0 and Level 3 were not found in the textbooks analyzed. However, we understand that there is quality in the textbooks analyzed with regard to suggestions of practical classes for Science Teaching with the presence of problematizing elements in all the analyzed units. Therefore, we believe in the potential of these materials for a more reflexive approach on the part of the students, from the active mediation of the teachers. |
