In this work it’s presented the development of a monitoring and automation system applied to fish farming. The losses in the process of creating and fattening of tilapia culture is usually caused by lack or excess of food, low rates of oxygen dissolved in the water and incorrect sizing physical space. These factors directly influence the growth and mortality rates. With this project, we expect an improvement of the creation process and fattening of tilapia by developing an easy handling, low-cost device to provide information on the production process, reduce losses of inputs and especially improve quality of fish. |
