Nowadays, students of Analysis and System Development and students of Computer Science bachelor degree in the Academic Department of Informatics at Federal University of Technology - Paraná, campus Ponta Grossa face difficulties finding a professor to guide them through the Senior Project. One of the reasons is that the information about the professors such as, area of knowledge, researches, and work in development are not always available or easy to access. Therefore, the choice of a advisor by the common area of interest of the student and the professor's research projects are affected for that lack of access to information. This paper presents the development of a web application to facilitate the access to information related to Senior Projects. This web application also aims to provide access to works presented in the previous years in order to help students searching for the areas of expertise of each professor and students who are looking for continuing the development of previous projects. This project will be developed using Kanban as management methodology and Extreme Programming (XP) as development methodology. In addition, for the development of this project it was used Django as a Framework to develop the application, Python and JavaScript as programming languages, and HTML and CSS as mark-up languages. |
