Resumo: |
This study presents an economic analysis of a sustainable hostel in the city of Florianopolis-SC, over a period of twenty years. From the observation of the difficulties faced by entrepreneurs planning to invest in sustainability, it was verified the need to produce and publish this assignment. For that, the knowledge acquired in other scientific works on the subject, together with data collected from other enterprises and tools of economic engineering, was listed. In order to generate satisfactory results for the study in focus, the CANVAS tool and the following economic indicators were used: NPV (net present value), IRR (internal rate of return) and payback. In addition, the sensitivity analysis was performed using three distinct scenarios: pessimistic, realistic and optimistic. The results obtained in the realistic scenario showed that the Wanderlust sustainable hostel project in the city of Florianópolis is economically viable, with NPV of R$ 310,191.59, IRR of 17.8%, simple payback of six years and discounted payback of fourteen years. Through this article, it is expected that new entrepreneurs will be able to invest in sustainable projects more accurately and safe economically, directing their efforts and money towards promising projects. Moreover, the purpose of the study is to add knowledge to the scientific environment. |
