The companies have sought to enhance its productive processes within higher efficiency levels, due by fast technologic advance and fierce market dispute. The concept and techniques of the Lean Manufacturing are affirmed into automobile industries because it evaluates a zero waste system. In turn, the Methods Time Measurement (MTM) methodology explores and identifies in depth the time which composes activities and the main gaps processes. This paper does the MTM analysis of a workstation in a trucks assembly line, and as from, it proposes improvements whose impact directly in productivity increase, eliminating 11,5% of the assembly time of this workstation. Likewise, concludes that the methodology is efficient to evidences improvements points, even its development is complex and slow, and requires a previous training about the material. |
