In any sphere of life, one must give importance to the health of the people. The rural worker, who is the object of study in this work, does an important role in society and needs more attention to his life and work. Thus, the objective of this study was to analysis the correlation between quality of life (QoL) and quality of life at work (QWL) of rural workers. In order to elaborate the research, where was made a vast bibliographical research, in which subjects such as QoL, QWL and rural worker were the searched words. To support the research, the theoretical framework was composed of the following themes: QoL, models to evaluate QoL, WHOQOL-100 model and WHOQOL-bref, QWL, models to evaluate QWL and Walton model. It were used statistical tests, aiming to evaluate the correlation between Qol and QWL. To obtain the data, the WHOQOL-bref and Walton Model questionnaires were applied simultaneously in two companies (n = 30 and n = 60), also counting on workers' opinions about the life and work they perform. There were validated sixty questionnaires, totaling the sample of the research carried out in the field. The quantitative analysis of the correlation showed that there is no strong congruence between QoL and QWL of rural workers. On the other hand, the qualitative analysis proved to be efficient to direct investments in QoL and QWL of rural workers. In this way, workers are satisfied with their life and work, although there are differences where improvements were proposed. |
