In the swine activity, the use of a biodigester can be considered as a competitive differential, as it is an alternative for the treatment of the residues generated by the activity, it can also produce biogas for energy generation. The present study aims to analyze how the variation of the parameters related to the volume of waste per swine and the volume of biogas produced by swine manure affects the projections of biogas production and generation of electric energy. When analyzing the variation that the daily volume of wastes causes in the results of generation of electric energy, it is the interval 1,074,5 kWh to 4,297.8 kWh generated monthly from the biogas. In this case, both values supply the monthly consumption of 1000 kWh / month of the swine activity in the considered property. The same analysis was carried out in relation to the parameter of biogas production per manure, the range is 268.6 kWh / month to 7,521.2 kWh / month. The minimum value found in this last case does not supply the monthly consumption of the swine activity in the considered property, while the maximum value exceeds this demand by 7 times. It can be observed that from the analyzed variation spectrum of the two parameters, the most sensitive according to the data collected by different authors is the volume of biogas produced by manure, which varies from -90 to 180% of its average value. In addition, it is verified by means of the present study that this spectrum of variation is influenced mainly by the amount of volatile solids present by waste. Linked to the importance of measuring the amount of volatile solids present by waste is the fact that it is relatively simple to obtain this value in laboratory. In this way, the rural producer can work with parameters consistent with his reality and thus make the decision making based on more reliable projections. Therefore, the theme of the study is relevant for the knowledge of rural producers who wish to investigate the applicability of a biodigester in their property. |
