This work was developed in order to execute the maintenance and retrofitting of a Flow Control Didactic Module that aims to the study of open and closed loop control techniques. It describes the research related to PID control techniques, the model of operation of the Module and its components as well as the software that was used. The details of every steps on the development of this work are also described, simulations, initial tests, difficulties encountered, assembly of components and the creation of the Supervisory Systems. Finally, several tests with different control parameters and their results are shown so that the interference of the controller on the system can be observed. |
