This research had as goal to identify what are the contributions of industrial actions of environmental preservation to the fortification of competitiveness and innovation. This identification is importante in na attempt of identifying a mean to encourage entrepreneurs to implemente environmental preservation actions. Besides, under a broader perspective, the adoption of these actions by a large number of companies favors the promotion of Sustainable Development. They were used as methods to identify what are these contributions: (i) the conduction of a bibliographic research in the scientific data base Scopus in order to obtain a bibliographic portfolio on the subject with the aid of the procedure Knowledge Development Construtivist-Process (ProKnow-C) and (ii) the conduction of a multiple case study in Brazilian companies by applying a questionnaire in order to identify this contribution. As result it was possible to notice that industrial actions of environmental preservation really contribute to the fortification of competitiveness mainly through the following ways: reductions of costs, reduction of losses, generation of profits from recyclables, improvement of the image of the company in the Market, facilitation of exportation. The induction innovations due to the industrial actions of environmental preservation occurs mainly through the development of new products. |
