This work aims, using numerical methods, optimize some concepts of Lean Healthcare for hospital procedures, aiming to increase profit and decrease bottlenecks in the path of the patient by the hospital sytem. To satisfy this need we seek to first apply an improvement in hospital following the Lean methodology, improvement is completed, it creates a mathematical model in relation to describes this new system configuration, apply this model in a numerical method in order to minimize their costs and increase the amount of patients served by finding a scenario where the hospital get de best possible outcome, given the reality that is, thereby eliminating the inherent Lean methodology attempts of trial and error. |
