The problem of natural resources and the issue of these are finite, increasingly leads to the search for solutions in recycling of materials that were previously discarded. Chip and slivers from machining processes are plentiful in many metal-mechanical industries and are a good source of recyclable materials. The purpose of this work is recycling these materials, especially the filings, through processes related to powder metallurgy. The process exploited by this work is like that used in the sintering of the metallic foils, the sorting of the chips, their compaction, sintering and results. The results were initially unexpected from the point of view of practicality sought for the recycling of filings. Taking into consideration of the process of recycling this material is not something simple, due to its nature and contaminations that it undergoes during previous processes by which it is submitted. |
