Resumo: The present work aims to develop the design and construction of an extruder for filament of 3D printers that use the FDM (Fused Deposition Modeling) printing method. Its beginning occurred from the realization of the need for a simple system to produce 3D printer filaments on demand and with desired characteristics, such as color and material. To meet this need, the project was started with a drawing in CAD (Computer Aided Design) software, based on the Felfil model. A brief explanation of the main components used as well as their functions was presented. As a differential in the original design, an extrusion die capable of maintaining a filament outlet temperature close to 100°C was designed. The results were obtained through a thermal simulation by finite elements of the extrusion die and also by the physical assembly of the model.
