This work presentes the hydraulic pump’s basic characteristics, describes of its componentes and explains the functionality of the pump characteristic curves. It presentes the possibilities of a pump combination system as well as the functionality of each assciation. It describes the fuzzy control theory, the fuzzifucation, defuzziication and fuzzy rules table steps. It discusses the limitations of a pump system installed in a water tratment plant reservoir and explains the need for fuzzy logic to be applied to this system to define the best time to start one or more pumps. And based on the actual flow history brings the best pump arrangement to use every hour of the day. It discusses the possible influenc of applying this results on the real system. |
