Resumo: The rapid population growth since the industrial revolution caused a search on developments in production processes, to achieve meet this increased demand for products was necessary. There have advantages, but also the emergence of problems, especially the disposal of the product after use. The oil products, tires and PET products, which have incorrect allocation, entail many problems, among them, flood, coming from clogging drains and obstructions of riverbeds. In diseases such as dengue mosquito because the need to stop water to reproduce, lying in the same containers incorrectly disposed outdoors. Because of this problem, the quest to find a solution to this waste is in constant discussion. The development of society in the last century was based on the increased consumption of concrete, a material that has a wide application range, from building sidewalks to pillars of buildings. Its composition is a mixture of cement, water added over part of coarse solids, such as sand, stones and gravels. Solids such that this research will be replaced in part by these tire waste and PET. Waste that these unused, would like dumpsters destination in the open or would serve as fuel for power plants, also incorrect destination due to the release of toxic gases and pollutants during its burning. The study aimed to demonstrate the possibility of using waste from tires and PET in replacing sand and stone in the original concrete recipe and analyze changes in their physical and mechanical properties compared to the original concrete. It also sought to establish a relationship with the amount of waste that are being taken from nature when the test folder is used for the construction curb parts.
