Resumo: In view of the increasing application of organometallic complexes in antitumor drugs and as chemical catalysts, especially in the production of polymers on an industrial scale using the Ziegler-Natta catalysts, an opportunity has been observed for the synthesis of copper complexes unpublished from the synthesis of Copper compounds in the form [Cu(α-diimine)2(L)]PF6 generating the complexes in the form [Cu(α-diimine)2(L)2]PF3, where α-diimine refers to nitrogenous ligands 2,2'- bipyridine (bpy) or 1,10'-phenanthroline (phen) and L corresponds to the chlorine (Cl) binder in the precursor complexes and to the triphenylphosphine binder (PPh3) in the complexes generated. Among the possible experimental methods for the synthesis of the complex used for replacement of linking groups. After choosing the method for preparing the new compounds diiminics Cu (II) were synthesized and subsequently characterized by means of UV / Vis spectroscopy in order to obtain the molar absorptivity of each complex.
