Nowadays, recycling has a significant role in reducing soil, water and air pollution. The most recycled materials are glass, aluminum, paper and plastic. However, there is also the electronic junk that has been growing over time and there is still no definitive solution to the problem. Due to the high turnover of electronic products, which are marketed and discarded daily, it was realized the need to recycle them. Residue from this waste, besides being harmful to health, also contains components that have added value such as gold, copper, lead and tin. In all the electronic components there is a printed circuit board (PCI) that are made of resin or fiberglass and have in their constitution these components with added value. Seen this, one sees the need to recycle these printed circuit boards. The technologies employed in the recycling process may be mechanical, chemical or thermal. One proposal is to study the recycling of PCIs in order to increase the percentage of reuse and also contribute to an adequate end of e-waste. |
