This final course assignment aims to contribute in the studies of analysis and improvement of problems related to the adhesion of the asphalt binder to the granite aggregate. The main point is to carry out tests that analyze the quality of adhesion of asphalt mixtures, since most of the infrastructure problems in Brazil are due to the fatigue of the asphalt pavement, since the adhesion in certain asphalt mixtures does not present satisfactory results. The main beneficiary of this application is the Brazilian population that relies heavily on road transport both for locomotion and for general cargo supply and transportation. Throughout an exploratory and analysis study by means of assays based on the DNER 078/94 test method, the work leads to a conclusion on adhesion improvers additives, indicating the percentage of discovery of the aggregate with the binder in samples of asphalt mixture. As a result, the improvement of the adhesiveness in some samples containing different adhesion improvers additives was analyzed and satisfactory adhesiveness was also found in the mixtures with additives from different industries. |
