Resumo: Environmental issues are increasingly present in all. From this it is possible to perceive the need to sensitize the new generations to the preservation of the environment. This act of sensitization needs to be worked on continuously and linked to the daily life of all students, including those who attend Special Education institutions. The present research had the objective of analyzing the Environmental Education practices carried out by APAES teachers with students with special needs in three municipalities of Paraná: Imbituva, Irati e Ponta Grossa. 28 teachers participated, answering about which projects are carried out in the APAEs within the theme Environmental Education, the acceptance and participation of the students and those responsible in these activities, as well as the difficulties found to carry out this work. After analyzing the results, it was verified the importance of working on the subject, besides understanding the collaboration of the other involved, which demonstrates the feasibility of the practices and that this work will have continuity within the institutions.
