This study aims to contextualize, through bibliographical and field research, public and deep questions about the insertion of black woman in the teaching activity, especially teaching Sciences. For this purpose, the mapping of the number of black teachers who work in the disciplines of Science in public Elementary Schools in the city of Ponta Grossa - PR was realized. The data collection was carried out with a questionnaire sent to the teachers of the city of Ponta Grossa (PR), through the Secretaria de Estado da Educação (SEED). The study confirmed the hypothesis that black women teaching sciences are the symptom of the double discrimination of sex, and color, in Brazilian society. The results found show that the teaching activity is still exercised mainly by women, within the reality studied. However, when the category color or race / ethnicity was analyzed, the representation was mostly of the color or race / ethnicity white. |
