Resumo: This work sought to analyze the contribution of educational workshops on the prevention use of alcohol and other drugs in the information of students on the effects of drugs on the human body, with various themes such as video exhibition, execution of didactic games, Making posters, and dynamics of the question box. Since the involvement of students with drugs bids and illicits has been increasing significantly, considering the ease of access that children, adolescents and young people have to alcohol and other drugs. This work is based on the theory of social representations employed in various fields of knowledge, about everything in the humanities and social sciences. Making an analogy of the representations that the students of a school of the state public network of the city of Ponta Grossa in the state of Paraná, develop about the drugs, aiming to inform them of the harm that the drugs cause in the human body and their actions In the central nervous system, as each substance acts at various points in the brain, altering the behavior of each user and the respective drug being used. The analysis of this work counted with two distinct classes, one with 33 students of the 6th year aged between 10 to 13 years, another class with 15 pupils of the 9th year with age range from 13 to 15 years, the activities were divided in two moments , where we work, with an initial questionnaire, educational videos, discussions about the effects of drugs (slides), making posters, execution of didactic games, with 6th year Educational Trail and 9th year card game "I'm Clean", dynamics of the question box Where the students put their biggest doubts. Educational workshops have contributed to information on the prevention of alcohol and other drugs, for students in the final years of elementary school, prevention is the best way for children, adolescents and young people to stay tuned and do not undergo drugs.
