People who have some kind of disability need more and more tools that expand and facilitate their daily lives.In this technological age, it is necessary to think and develop applications that include these individuals not only in the digital environment, but also that allow and help to have greater independence in real life. Assistive technology has this focus, allowing social inclusion, independence and improving the quality of life of people with some type of disability, inability or reduced mobility. Based on Assistive Technology and assuming the need for specific applications for Portuguese-speaking autistic individuals, this work proposal emerged. In this way, this work describes this proposal, which was inspired by the Technology of Assistance and supported by Mobile Technology. Its main goal is to create an Android application that will serve as a support tool in the development of communication for people with autism. Whether its use is reinforced by the interest of the subject, by the guidance of professionals (speech therapists, therapists, teachers, etc.) or by the encouragement of parents, it is believed that from fun activities, well targeted and varied, can is it help the autistic in achieving communication, resulting in greater autonomy in everyday situations. |
