Resumo: Process mapping is a technique used to understand and document how a company works. With the mapping it is possible to graphically visualize all the steps of the processes of an operation, registering their inputs, outputs and actions. This technique applied in small and medium enterprises can be initially difficult because the processes are poorly defined or nonexistent, where most decisions are centralized in a single employee (manager or director). In order to overcome this difficulty, at the moment of the interview, should carefully choose the questions to be asked of this key user, in order to extract a decision logic and thus be able to transcribe them into a flow. This work carried out the survey and mapping of processes of two small companies and later identified the stages of process flows common to them. With this, ERP professionals, be they consultants or developers, can verify which sectors have the same or different functionalities. And small companies in ERP deployment can identify the ideal flow to be applied in their business rule.
