This study presents a theoric description of a MAN network implementation, redundant at Batavo Agroindustrial Cooperative, with the challenge of thinking about a technology that could make the project possible, taking into account the costbenefit. In several discussions between the technical staff and the managers, having many budgets in hands and even with other technologies being studied, the conclusion obtained was that the best way would be the implementation and setting of a link dedicated to data and voice between the headquarter and its branches, using wireless radiofrequency technology, with net actives and radio point to point in 5.8 Ghz. The radios and their respective aerials will be fixed in certain height and position which kept seen and allows the data traffic without interferences of natural means, such as hills, trees and buildings. The already existent infra-structure in some sites was used, but it was necessary to go in search of partnerships to make use of towers and buildings with strategic points having height compatible to their needs. |
