Resumo: The returnable bottles production system presents numerous problems and their study is of great value to any production line. This work presents an alternative to control and inspect crates that comes to the production line to quantifying and qualifying suppliers. Describes the production process of a brewing unit, the impacts and losses recorded because of the miss of a set standard for control, also address the problems encountered in this process and what are the critical points that can be improved. This work explores the types of sensors and their characteristics variables involved in the process and develops an inspector of empty bottles using ultrasonic sensors, where the signals are inserted into a Programmable Logical Controller (PLC) to be treated through arithmetic blocs and in the HMI the results could see and how many bottles they missed a lot. Presents the results of the inspection system, where using PLCs company creating an efficient and cost effective for this problem.
