The Method of Least Squares, is a technique that attempts to find the chart of best fit for a set of data points, so using this method contributes to a lot of research because it is as if we could find order in chaos, and thus can make predictions and studies on various phenomena. This paper will show the ease of developing this method in curve fitting: linear systems or by using a matrix treatment. In section textbf 2.1 illustrate the fit of the data will be a straight section and the textbf 2.2 we present the data fitting to a parabola. Finally in section textbf 2.3 we generalize the method to a polynomial of degree n. We show that the method can still be deducted in matrix and we consider some applications of the method in modeling real problems. |
