Presentation of the project for the enlargement of the urea system of the resin factory of Arauco do Brasil, focusing on automation. With the elimination of operations with big-bags of urea there is a significant reduction in the risks of accidents with elevation of loads. In addition, the automation in the dosing system provides the best process control and reduction of the probability of products outside the quality requirements, consequently, the environmental impacts related to the generation of effluents and waste disposal are reduced. The content contemplates from the contextualization of the scenario with the initial problem and opportunity, the survey of process information and technical information of the current system, presenting the analysis of the options regarding the forms of automation, instrumentation, control and exposure of the best alternatives for the installation of the proposed system. |
