This project consists of a temperature control of a thermal chamber using the Foundation Fieldbus all-digital protocol. A temperature transmitter and a Fieldbus to 4-20 mA converter were used in the project’s development. The Foundation Fieldbus protocol was configured successfully and a monitoring system was developed. To tune the controller with Internal Model Control (IMC) was performed. Tests were conducted and it was concluded that the communication, the controller and the process monitoring system functioned properly. |
