This research presents an approach to contemporary theater and the nonconventional space. Taken as a case, the spectacle "Os Pálidos" by CiaSenhas of Curitiba, in 2015, which had as its starting point Luis Buñuel's surrealism. It presents the main aspects of the surrealistic movement while escaping bourgeois traditional standards of it’s time. It also presents the main aspects of the theater in nonconventional spaces and their relationship with the public, including social criticism and contemporary politics as well. The survey analyzes the show "Os Pálidos" and the use of nonconventional space and surrealistic atmosphere for interaction with the public and relating it to political, social and esthetic questions. |
