This article presents a reflection on the adaptation of the novel Don Casmurro for television in Capitu series. Seeking dialogue between the Brazilian Literature and the cinematographic language, enters the different forms of representation of the narrator character in the television series. The research was based on the novel written by Machado de Assis in 1899 and Capitu directed by Luiz Fernando Carvalho in 2008. Theories of Anatol Rosenfeld (2005), Antonio Candido (2005), Maurini Souza (2005), Maria Ribas (2014), Paulo Gomes (2005), José Carlos Avellar (2007) and Walter Benjamin (1987), are of this Article. |
