The present article presents the convergences between architectural and scenographic projects, based on the work developed by the Brazilian architect, set designer and designer Isay Weinfeld. It has as motivation the difficulty in establishing a clear limit for the interface between the two fields, since they are in constant change. As users of architecture we often play the role of spectators. We contemplate architecture or urban space without penetrating it. We can compare our role to the role of the actors, in a scenario that develops in the spectacle of everyday life. Through an iconographic analysis, significant elements will be defined in both disciplines, verifying how the constructions can intervene in the theatrical space, as well as in the space of the city. With this, it exposes the ambiguity of the scenographic territory as complementary to the field of performance of the architecture. |
