Resumo: The level of energy efficiency of residential buildings has been highlighted in studies in Brazil and worldwide. Most homes are single family residences and Brazil have great potential for energy consumption. In addition to the commercial and public sectors, we have that, for 2010, the construction sector accounted for approximately 47% of electricity consumption in the country, surpassing the industry, whose consumption was 44%. However, mainly driven by the crisis of 2001, came the need to develop sustainable designs and energy-efficient technologies in the residential segment. Architectural designs with passive solutions for envelopment and development projects that include studies on the energy behavior of residential buildings can contribute to energy efficiency without compromising the quality of life of its users. Wood Frame, newly implemented technology in Brazilian culture for building systems of buildings, works with the composition profiles of wood forming panels of floors, walls and roof combined and / or coated with other materials increase the thermal performance of building-acoustic . certification of the energy performance of buildings is becoming an important aspect of its operation which was created Quality Technical Regulation for Residential Buildings - RTQ - R that specifies the technical requirements, as well as methods for the classification of residential buildings through Label National Energy Conservation - ENCE of "A" (most efficient) to "E" on the level of energy efficiency. This thesis work aims to present an analysis of the efficiency of the envelope, based on the technical regulation of quality homes for Inmetro held in a building built in unconventional system in the Brazilian context.
