This paper presents a historical analysis of the seat furniture, focusing on the chaise longue, which is one of the many furniture that had its beginnings in the remote periods of civilization, and figure today, among the houses´ furniture. We saw the opportunity to do à research to verify the multifunctionality, for electronic equipment uses, according to relevant ergonomic aspects to the functionality. The chaise longue is a good candidate to have an adaptation for the laptop, it is furniture that let the person in absolute rest, with the correct reclining and legs on the correct height, and we have a place that can spend long periods, either for work or for leisure. The work was developed with such aspects as, describes the type of the chaise longue and identified clusters accessories to the furniture, which can be characterized as multipurpose elements. Highlighting the main ergonomic and anthropometric aspects, and also provides data on some materials and projective premises for this mobile can be manufactured. |
