There has always been a great need for time optimization and mitigation of costs, leaving the issue of work security in the background. Because of the concern for health and safety of the workers, a case study was carried out in a execution work of ditch for laying water pipes, sewage and drainage, in the metropolitan region of Curitiba, applying a checklist to point out the main items in violation of current legislation. The checklist was based on the Regulatory Standard No. 18. Although there is no applicability to many items, because the scope of the checklist cover both digging ditches as foundations, the work had a rate of 85 % compliance of the current regulations, excluding the cases where there was no applicability, providing evidence that the work is committed to the current legislation. |
