The purpose of this paper is to analyze the safety measures against fire comparing the laws of the Fire Department of the three states of the south of the country for a commercial building project. For the methodology of the research, a project of a 30-meter-height commercial building with an area of approximately 14.000 m² was chosen. After the frameworking of the building in the rules of fire preventing of each of the states in study, a list of required safety measures was made as well as the classification of these measures within the safety measures against fire categories (prevention, protection, fight, escaping and management). Then, a comparative analysis regarding the safety required by the studied rules was done, through the protection fire measures classification - active and passive. As a result of this research, the differences among the requiring rules that can possibly be found were presented. In some particular findings, those differences were only relevant for the elaboration of the project. In others, the differences among the required measures are more prominent regarding to an effective prevention and/or fire fighting. |
