Resumo: The present study starts from the assumption of elucidating the main aspects related to the inclusion of people with disabilities in the labor market, emphasizing the challenges and perspectives of this inclusive paradigm. The main objective of the study is to understand what are the main challenges that employees with physical disabilities can potentially face in their daily work, in terms of accessibility and mobility. In addition to having as purpose to reflect on the main legal factors that guide the process of inclusion PCD in the labor market, analyzing and confronting real and qualitative situations with the main theoretical sources on the subject. The field research allowed a better understanding of the reality in the daily work of people with disabilities, where through observation it was possible to verify difficulties and advances that the company (object of study) presents with respect to this approach. The method used to construct the study involved both bibliographical research and field studies, where the instruments of data collection were interviews, and research in several literary collections. When it comes to physical disability, technical standards, such as NBR9050, address different ways of making spaces more accessible for people with reduced mobility. The researches revealed that many are the difficulties of accessibility and mobility of the PCD in the organization researched, being these aspects the main obstacles, since the physical conditions of these people limit them in many of their activities, making necessary some structural adjustments and furniture so that these barriers are overcome and these employees can exercise their functionality with greater efficiency and versatility, since clearly the work is for these people a way to be more participative, useful and dignified, not only for the company more like also within society. It is concluded that it is imperative that companies value the skills of people with disabilities, hiring them not only to comply with the legislation, but also to provide them with opportunities, to empower them and, above all, to contribute to the social inclusion process of those with disabilities. adaptations need to be made so that PCD functions at work are carried out with greater mobility and safety.
