Water is the source of life as it is essential for human survival. In order for water to be extracted for human consumption, a drinking standard must be met; that is, it should have no risk to the consumer. In order to reach the drinking water standard, it is important to carry out the cleaning and disinfection of water reservoirs. The main objective of the study was to analyze the risks of water reservoir sanitation services in buildings, through a case study in a company of the sector, in the city of Curitiba / PR. A Preliminary Risk Analysis (APR) was elaborated to raise potential risks that the company's workers are exposed to, at the service sites and during the process of sanitizing water reservoirs. The APR result was the highest percentage of risks involved in the activity, the treatment of tolerable risks of grade 2, indicating that there should be measures of supervision during work, especially regarding the use of Individual Protection Equipment (IPEs) by workers. The APR also pointed out that the activity exposes workers to risks categorized as moderate and relevant, related mainly to work in confined space, work at height and contact with chemicals. |
