This study tried to analyze the risks involved in activities of forest machines to verify the compliance with NR - 12 (Regulatory Norm number: 12) and consequently with the improvements application, reduce the accidents in the machines maintenance and in the cutting of forest trees. As a specific objective, a checklist was applied on the forestry machine (CLAMBUNK-895), identifying nonconformities and applying improvement suggestions to meet the Regulatory Norm; addressed the use of forestry machines (harvester and forwarder) and their indispensability in increasing production; Evidenced the importance of the maintenance sector in the verification, adaptation, implantation of devices, inspection and performance improvements in the operability of equipment for the worker; defined the term “security devices” (warning signs, access platforms, body guard, rigid protection and electronic devices); Identified the main risks in the performance of forest harvesting activities with machinery free of installed devices; Analyzed the advantages in the installation of mechanical and electronic safety devices; addressed the guidelines agreed upon by NR-12 for the adaptation of imported forest machinery; verified how the installation of mechanical and electronic safety devices contribute to eliminate or reduce the risks of accidents with workers in the maintenance of machinery and forest harvesting of eucalyptus trees; Suggest means to reduce risks by applying NR-12 to forest machines (adaptation with mechanical and electronic devices). |
