Resumo: One sector of the industry that is gaining prominence by poor working conditions and lack of security for workers is the sector of refrigerators. In order to improve working conditions and minimize the discomforts of workers, which was created the Regulatory Norm 36. The objective of this study was perform a Ergonomic Analysis through the methodology TOR-TOM in various sectors of a small fridge, as well as compare the times found for recovery from fatigue determined by the method with the values for rest breaks prescribed by RN 36. At first it bothered-up data on all sectors evaluated. Then, was used TOR-TOM method for performing ergonomic analysis and for calculation of fatigue recovery time. Finally, a checklist based on the RN 17 and RN 36 has been applied in order to verify some of the items that the refrigerator need to fit according to the requisites of Standards. It was observed in this work that the refrigerator should fit the standards (17 and 36) both to provide better working conditions, and to avoid fines and even closure of the establishment. It was concluded that the activities in the sectors considered most critical in a small refrigerator concern when it comes to ergonomics. Comparing the breaks prescribed by RN 36 and recovery times of fatigue determined by the method TOR-TOM, it is observed that the numbers are close.
