Resumo: |
This monograph aims to present the main risks identified in United Community recyclers Association where the screening of all separated recyclable material from Fazenda Rio Grande city (that belongs to Curitiba metropolitan area) is performed. The association is formed by twenty workers, all of which perform selecting materials. From these, four also operate a hydraulic press for making paper and plastic bales, and seven perform collecting materials in the streets, by using carts. From the observations and measurements made on the visit it was possible to develop a quantitative risk analysis of noise and luminance, respectively measured with a digital noise meter, instant reading meter brand Instrutherm DEC 460, operating in compensation "A" and slow response circuit and with a digital light meter brand Instrutherm LD-300. A qualitative analysis of all risks - noise, pathogenic micro-organisms transmitted by rats, poor lighting, poor posture, weight manual lifting and transport , operating machinery (hydraulic press) and cutting and drilling hand and foot by sharp objects – was also made, by a preliminary risk analysis. With the risks identified, it was possible to classify them and define more appropriate recommendations to minimize and eliminate them. The main recommendations were: correct and continuous use of gloves and safety shoes, installation of traps for rats, training to correct posture in the workplace and weight manual transport and training for hydraulic press operation. |
