This study was developed based on books dedicated to prevention and firefighting, current legislation of the Fire Department of Parana, companies specialized in providing civil engineering, security, firefighting services and consultancy. The objective of this study was to analyze a project under the rules and regulations of current legislation. The remodeling process of the building was executed in 2007, approved by the Fire Fighting department three years later, and is being evaluated under current regulations dated 2011. The results of this analysis are based on a checklist of compliance of the project with the law, and detailed analysis of each item referenced with the corresponding standard. Among the eleven items analyzed, three were disapproved. The paper also discusses the requirements for drafting of security systems and the requirements of regulatory and technical standards procedure, serving as a basis for research and guidance for those who need an easy language and summarized information of this topic. |
